APPLICATION
The LS beacon must be installed on the obstacle or nearby, in clearly visible locations, starting at the top of the structure and, depending on the height, adding others at lower levels, ensuring that they are visible to aircraft at safe distances, in all approach directions.
SYSTEM FEATURES
The LS beacon is self-contained. It has batteries and a solar charger. It features reliable electronics, quality LEDs, a robust body, and is made in Brazil:
• LED obstacle light with low consumption and a lifespan exceeding 100,000 hours (L70).
• Single microprocessor electronic circuit that includes a photosensor, beacon operation, solar control, and a PWM battery recharge controller.
• Attachable photovoltaic solar module approved by INMETRO.
• Dual lithium-ion battery with BMS that prevents overcharging and ensures system continuity if one of the batteries fails.
• Supports, connections, and structures specific to the function.
• Operation with DC voltage, 12 or 24Vdc, reduces the risk of electric shock.
